How do I call Afghanistan!?

Just curious lol My husband has a cell phone from over there that he bought over there. I am just curious is to how to call it? Im sure I need some sort of numbers first than his numbers. Or .. I don't know! that would be like our area code. But Im sure its not his area code. I tried to look it up, but I got really confused lol Any help?!

Oh yea, he is in the army

Normally while calling afghanistan we First dial Country Code (0093) and then the cell#

eg (0093-799141192) thats it

but i donno its same for army or they may have special cell # controlling from somewhere else

First, he has to have a SIM card that is for the area. He can pick one up from the PX if he has access to one.

Then he's gotta pick up a phone card, have the number from the old phone, and he's gotta have a long distance phone card....so he needs 2 phone cards, one for each function.

Once you have the phone number, you can call him.

Do some research online about cheap overseas phone cards. You can manage his cards from home by refilling his accounts.How do I call Afghanistan!?

I'm pretty sure to dial overseas you have to dial 011 first then the area code, then the number. But to be sure call ur operator.How do I call Afghanistan!?
Remember your calls can be intercepted by other people quite easily with mobiles which is why the Army use a secure telephone system. Sometimes people have received messages saying their loved ones have been captured etc.
