I have been getting several phone calls on my cell. The area code is from New York City and I live nowhere near there, and I don't know anybody there. I never answer the calls because I don't know who it is, I've gotten seven calls so far. I looked up the number online and it appears that I am not the only person having this problem. Call your service provider and tell them you want to block a certain number and they will do it. Also, it might be possible to do it from there website because I think I read somewhere that if you have Verizon you can do it throught the My Verizon website.How to block numbers on my cell phone?

if you have an android... just add it to your call block list under Settings %26gt; Call Settings
if you dont have an android... then call 611
