Specifically I am looking for the information concerning the area that the Los Angeles Mayor's Office has control over. I tried looking up that information on the US Census Bureau but their information includes data on other cities in the Los Angeles county that are considered to be part of the Los Angeles metropolitan area but are other cities which have their own city hall and municipal code such as Glendale or Burbank. In contrast, most cities in the San Fernando Valley such as Arleta or Van Nuys do not have their own city hall and have their laws come from the City of Los Angeles city hall. What is the population and geographic area of Los Angeles?
Los Angeles has a population of 3.2 million and spreads across 26 square miles. It is now a sanctuary city to illegal Mexicans, and the populatdion is growing as we communicate. What is the population and geographic area of Los Angeles?
40% of actual Los Angeles is spanish speaking. 14% of those do not speak any English at all and are illigal immigrants. 45% of all Los Angeles live in a state of poverty. Does that help at all? Hear the figures a few months ago on the radio and it struck me as weird and also shows that LA is a 3rd world country unto itself.
