What should i do if i suspect my dad is cheating on my mom?

I am only 14 years of age and i have a 16 yr old brother. I happend to stumble upon text messages on my dads phone from some one i have never heard of. They live in Nevada because i looked up the area code. At first i didnt think much of it but last night i looked and i am really suspicios. he goes to Las Vegas twice a year for business confrences. he is a CPA (certified public accountant). Should i stay out of it because it could be nothing or do i use someones els's phone and text he annonomsily? I dont want my mom to find out if she doesnt know cuz i always thought we had a good family. What should i do????What should i do if i suspect my dad is cheating on my mom?
I think you should go to your mom and just lay it out on the table. Tell her you were being a typical nosey 14 yr old, reading your dads texts and this is what you came across. Explain to her that it has really been bothering you, and that you didn't know who to go to or what to do. Your mom will know what actions to take. She may look at it and say ' oh honey thats Jane, she calls everyone hun'. Don't be concerned about this being the way your mom finds out if your dad is cheating, she will appreciate finding out in the long run. I would be more concerned with not telling her, her finding out, and then her finding out you knew something all along. Good luck, and remember, you are not doing anything wrong. Also, ask your mom not to tell him you confronted her with the texts.
How did you "happen to stumble upon text messages on my dad's phone"? Were you snooping? Would you like it if he did that to you? It could be nothing or it could be something. You do not have the facts and I think you should leave it alone. Using someone else's phone to text him is trying to entrap your Dad. have a walk with your dad and tell him how much you love your family and appreciate everything your dad and mom do for your family. also tell him that each of your family member needs him dearly. don't mention you found the text messages. leave it to him to deal with them

I think you should totally stay out of it. First, maybe your assumptions are wrong, then wether you're right or wrong, doing anything about it will only fall back on you.
Stay out of your the business of married grown people.



You have more to lose by involving than not.
i would talk to your dad in private and if he denies it, sit down as a family and talk about it.
Just stay out of it you might tell a trusted relative and let them handle it as they see best.. good luck

first, try sticking camras in they room, see if they are having sex much (plus you get to see the hott vidz) and if they are; look for signs during sex, like your dad accidentally saying another womans name. if something seems suspicious than try following him when he goes to "work", or to get a "drink" with the guys. also try getting a ticket to las vagas and follow him when he goes. but if you do all these things and nothing seems suspicious that you should be fine.
what did the messages say. ok it could be that she is just hitting on your dad. Talk to him and give him the benefit of the doubt. If you brought it up to everyone, it could ruin the marriage. It might just be her. He may not like it. But it would still hurt your mom. On the other hand. If your dad doesn't like it your mom could get it to stop and its possible that it could be he is cheating. Tough, tough, situation, it might be best to stay quiet for now and just pay more attention.
